Website maintenance is ongoing technical care. It is not an unlimited redesign agreement. Your plan should state what we monitor, how we handle requests, what is included, and what needs a separate quote.
01
Core technical maintenance
Most plans should cover software and security updates, backups, uptime checks, performance monitoring, domain and DNS support, certificate renewal, and recovery responsibilities.
02
Content and small corrective work
A plan may include small content updates, CMS help, broken-link fixes, display corrections, and basic analytics reports. It should also state how to send requests and how much work is included.
03
Work that usually needs a new scope
Large features, new page templates, a full redesign, photography, video, major copywriting, and complex integrations normally need a separate quote.
04
Questions to settle before signing
Confirm response expectations, support hours, emergency handling, backup frequency, restore tests, third-party costs, content limits, reporting, access ownership, and how extra work will be priced.
